By far, the coolest show that I have gotten to work on as an electrician is Joseph at UFOMT under Chris Wood. We re-used a giant old practical (the go-go-go sign) and re-wired it with new lamps. As a team, we also built giant light boxes using pixel tape.
The coolest of all, however, were the 3D printed practicals, printed by Wood himself, with LEDs inside and wireless DMX.
I learned a lot about troubleshooting pixel tape. These light boxes were built to play animations across, so I learned about the importance of pixel mapping.
I had never built anything like this before and it was so particular! But so rewarding.

These 2 photos show just how intricate and small the hardware was that I was trusted to work with. These components are very fragile so I had to be very careful and know exactly what I was doing.
